| china: poisonous toys, poisonous milk, too young athlete? | | with the enumeration i did above is china making fun of the rest of the world? why do they use lead to paint the toys they export, why do they use chemicals that harm children just to preserve powdered milk longer, why do they enter too young an athlete in the olympics that they flawlessly hosted?and why is china, in spite of these and many unmentioned shameful others, still a force to be respected? toys that are not actually toys that your kids/babies like to play with? | |
| | Banning toys in kids meals | | The government is at it again. The new thing is that they are trying to pass a law, that restaurants can not give a toy with a meal that has too much sugar, salt or fat. I think they are going too far. What is your opinion?I do understand that they are trying to fight obesity, but I also think that the government is getting to involved in our lives. This is supposed to be a free country, but it is getting to the point of you cannot do anything without the governments involvement.

| Ouija boards sold as "toys" what a great idea? | | Whether you believe in spirits or not, there are somethings that are better left alone and not to mess with. As we all know Ouija boards can be used to contact the dead or to summon demons. What disturbs me the most is[em]fear[/em] that, yesterday my bf and I took Buckster out for a walk to the near park in our neighborhood and we saw a bunch of kids playing games[em]confused[/em] and laughing out loud so no big deal right? well as I got closer I noticed that they had a board, well I said to myself this must be something new, but as I got closer[em]fear[/em]I couldn't believe my eyes it was a Ouija board.
What are you guys doing? I asked them, and one of them said we are just playing, wanna play one of them said. I said "no, thank you we are taking our dog for a walk" "where did you get the board game?" I said. "My brother gave it to me" one kid said.
I knew that you can buy a Ouija board online and for some Ouija boards are just a game nothing occult, bad about it. For me is not just a toy I believe in the spirit world and I find the idea very disturbing.
By the time we got home my bf found this article online about Ouija boards and Toys R Us:...
| | Toys are gross | | I really dont know why some people loves using those toys while they already have a partner. I just found them abnormal. I dont like the idea of using something that was plastic, rubber or metal. When I'm watching Lesbian porn, I prefer the ones that doesn't use a toy. I mean women dont really need those things to satisfy each other. Its just me though. What do you think of toys? | |

I wouldn't as I already said I believe in the spiritual world and I've seen things that you wouldn't believe me. I guess what you believe is up to you.

| my son doesn't want to share his toys!!! | | He is 10 years old and I only noticed recently that he often argues with his little sister who is only 3 years old because he does not want to share his toys with her. Odd because he is willing to share those toys with his other playmates when they come in our house to play with him. His standard spiel why he doesn't want to share them is because- "She is going to destroy/wreck them!!!"
Is this natural for 10 year old boys???
| | Vintage toys! My gawd... they bring back so much memories!!! | | A friend of mine recently got into the business of selling toys. Well... actually, a friend of a friend. But a friend is a friend rite?
[em]lol[/em]Anyways, he was into the business of toys. And not just any toys, But vintage toys as well! Boy! going thru his site reminds me of the toys I used to play when I was a kid.
So many of those toys were like so simple. But they sure the heck bring out a lot of fun and hours of play!Do take a look and see if you can get anything that will remind you of your childhood!Loads of vintage toys available to rekindle that nostalgia of being a kid!
A collector's must see!

| | Where did you put your toys when you were a child? | | Hello dear members,
Every child has a secret chamber in his mind, stuffed with fantastic stories and figurines. A child also prefer to keep all his toys somewhere safe so that grown ups can never muddle with them. I had a large box where I used to keep all fragile toys. I also used plastic bags on this purpose. I was pretty serious about my toys. I was very possessive, but when my friends came to play I didn't mind sharing with them my toys. I had little figurines that were put into plastic bags with their limbs twisted. I felt sorry for them, but there is nothing much I could do about it. I also had a habit to put them on shelf in a very strategic position so that a certain theme is conveyed through them. I remember playing with those tiny dolls. All the stories that I read and the movies that I watched, I used to recreate them while playing with those toys. The ugliest toy was an elephant. He was one dirty looking villain and was always beaten up by some charming and handsome boys. But when the game was over, they all went to the plastic bag together. There they laid with peace and never had a fight until they were taken out again the next day.
What about you? Where did you...
